Held online and broadcast from a studio in Paris, the FIESSA
eConference 2022 brought together more than 800 participants from 200 Clubs in 120 countries from all around the world for two days of engaging, informative and interactive sessions focused around the theme ‘A Global Voice – Empower Sustainable Growth’.
The Empowerment Committee is responsible for promoting the empowerment of athletes and ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to succeed in their sports careers. The committee works closely with FIESSA’s member associations and other relevant stakeholders to address issues related to athlete welfare and career development.
Some of the key responsibilities of the Empowerment Committee include:
1. Developing and implementing programs and initiatives to support athlete development and career advancement.
2. Providing resources and support to athletes to help them manage the physical, emotional, and psychological demands of their sports careers.
3. Advocating for athlete welfare and rights, including issues related to athlete health and safety, anti-doping, and fair play.
4. Promoting education and training opportunities for athletes to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their sports careers and beyond.
5. Collaborating with other organizations and stakeholders to promote athlete empowerment and create a supportive and inclusive sports environment.
